Yamaha has released the 2025 FZ-S Fi Hybrid

Hybrid Powertrain

The FZ-S Fi Hybrid is driven by a 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 12.4PS at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm at 5,500rpm. A Smart Motor Generator (SMG) added to the motor results in battery-aided acceleration and quieter engine starts, helping fuel efficiency.

Advanced Features

This model comes with a 4.2-inch color TFT display and smartphone connectivity using Yamaha’s Y-Connect app. The integration provides the features of turn-by-turn directions with Google Maps, real-time guidance, and music playback. Some other features are all-LED lighting, traction control, an automatic start/stop function, and side-stand engine cut-off for increased safety.

Design and Comfort

The FZ-S Fi Hybrid features a muscular 13-liter fuel tank with angular edges and long seat to provide the rider comfort while riding for long distances. The handlebar has been shifted for better ergonomics, and the switchgear has been modernized for improved usability. The fuel tank has an airplane-style hinged cap for improved convenience.

Safety and Handling

Framed on a single-cradle chassis, the bike comes with a 41mm telescopic front fork and a seven-step preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear for the best handling. Braking is taken care of by a 282mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc, along with single-channel ABS and traction control for added safety.

Color Options

The FZ-S Fi Hybrid comes in two aggressive-looking color variants: Racing Blue and Cyan Metallic Grey, suited for riders who require both performance and style.
